Nanba CITY
Namba CITY is a complex directly connected to Nankai Railway’s Namba Station. The facility spans B2 to 2F and contains many specialty shops such as apparel stores, along with numerous restaurants and cafés. It consists of two buildings—Main and South—separated by Kuramae-dori. Since opening in 1978, it has been widely used, with renovations carried out in 2011 and 2015. The former “Rocket Plaza” in the B1 atrium was once a meeting spot in Minami, and is now known as “Namba Galleria.” The facility is well-equipped for families, offering baby rooms and diaper-changing beds. It also has tax-free counters, temporary luggage storage, and domestic delivery services, making it convenient not only for overseas visitors but also for Japanese travelers. Because it adjoins Takashimaya Osaka Store and Namba Parks, it’s easy to enjoy shopping and dining even on rainy days.
