Umeda Arts Theater

Umeda Arts Theater operates two venues: the Main Hall and Theater Drama City, hosting musicals, Takarazuka Revue performances, stage plays, and concerts. The theater occupies floors B3 to 7F of the Hankyu Chayamachi Building. Seating capacities are 1,905 for the Main Hall and 898 for Theater Drama City. Both venues are well equipped to handle many types of performances, with excellent sound systems; the Main Hall also has a state-of-the-art movable acoustic reflector suitable for orchestral classical concerts. The location is very convenient: about 3 minutes on foot from Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station (Chayamachi Exit), about 8 minutes from JR Osaka Station (Midosuji North Exit), and about 5 minutes from Osaka Metro Midosuji Line Umeda Station (Exit 1). A restaurant called “Solviva” is also located next to the entrance on the 1st floor, allowing visitors to dine before or after shows.
