Festival Hall

Festival Hall is a well-known cultural venue in Nakanoshima, a famous district in Kansai. It has seating capacity for 2,700 people and hosts performances across a wide range of genres, including concerts, opera, ballet, pop music, Noh, and Kyogen. It is also renowned for its acoustics, with sound that remains consistently balanced throughout the hall, and it has been selected as one of the ‘Top 100 Excellent Halls’ chosen by acousticians—an accolade that is rare even in Japan. On the 13th floor of Festival Tower, there is a sky terrace with views of the Osaka city nightscape, open to the public on weekdays from 8:00 to 20:00. The nearest stations are Higobashi Station Exit 4 and Watanabebashi Station Exit 12; both are directly connected, so you can visit without getting wet even on rainy days.
