Keihan Mall
Keihan Mall is a large shopping complex directly connected to Keihan Railway’s Kyobashi Station, and it was Keihan’s first-ever shopping mall. It opened in 1970, completed alongside the elevation of Keihan Kyobashi Station. Originally named Keihan Shopping Mall, it was renovated in 1985 and renamed Keihan Mall. The facility has seven floors above ground and one basement level; the basement level (B1) is the “Mall Food Hall.” Floors 1 through 4, directly connected to the station, feature many stores selling women’s fashion, cosmetics, and daily goods. Floors 5 and above house restaurants and cafes, as well as a cooking studio and beauty/esthetic services. The mall is characterized by an overall concept that particularly targets younger women. The building also includes Hotel Keihan Keihan Grande, making it convenient for both business and leisure use. It also provides easy access to “K Buratto,” a nearby area lined mainly with dining establishments.
