Sky Land Harada
Skyland HARADA is a park facility in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture, close to Hyogo and located southwest of Osaka International Airport (Itami). Because it is built on the roof of the Harada Treatment Plant’s No. 3 water-treatment facility, visitors need to go up by stairs or elevator to reach the grounds. The park is expansive—about 42,000㎡—and includes grassy areas, playground equipment for athletic play, an artificial stream, and a gateball ground. Facilities include restrooms, changing rooms with nursing space, and warm-water showers. Since it is adjacent to the airport, you can watch airplanes from the plaza or parking lot with few obstructions, and even see touchdowns at close range—making it a popular photo spot. Access is convenient by bus from Hankyu Itami Station or JR Itami Station; get off at Iwaya-higashi bus stop and walk about 100 meters. There is also a parking lot, so it can be reached by car as well.
