Cool Japan Park Osaka

Cool Japan Park Osaka is a theater-style cultural and entertainment complex located on the east side of Osaka Castle Park. It opened in February 2019 through a collaboration of private companies—including Osaka-based commercial TV stations and Yoshimoto Kogyo—together with a public–private investment fund. The facility can stage a wide range of entertainment and consists of three halls—WW Hall, TT Hall, and SS Hall—equipped with state-of-the-art production environments. The hall names are known for having been coined by comedian Sanma Akashiya. WW Hall is the largest, with 1,138 seats plus six wheelchair spaces, and supports projection-mapping productions and even performances involving circus-style aerial staging. TT Hall specializes in theater and musicals, with 702 seats plus four wheelchair spaces. SS Hall is designed for TV program recording, with flexible stage-and-seating layouts; it has 300 seats and can hold up to 600 people in standing format.
