NHK Osaka Broadcasting Station - BK Plaza
NHK Osaka Broadcasting Station BK Plaza is a public studio plaza with hands-on experience corners, located on the 1st and 9th floors of the NHK Osaka Broadcasting Station. It opened when the new station building was completed in November 2001. The open studio on the 1st floor is used for public broadcasts of TV weekday wide programs such as “Gurutto Kansai Ohirumae” and “Ahoyanen! Sukiyanen!”, as well as the monthly third-Saturday program “Kansai Doyo Hot Time” and occasional broadcasts like “FM Sound Pocket Namihana.” At the “Narikiristudio,” visitors can simulate the broadcast studio atmosphere by trying out roles such as a news or weather presenter. In other hands-on areas, visitors can learn how to create sound effects—such as waves and wind—using tools, and how to sync sound effects to video. The 1st-floor atrium also includes a cafe and hosts various events. On the 9th floor, there is “Studio Vision,” where visitors can observe recordings in the drama studio on the 8th floor through windows, as well as an online library corner and an “Admiration Showcase” displaying autographs of TV talents.
