NAKANOSHIMA Night View Cruise

NAKANOSHIMA Night View Cruise is a limited-season 25-minute cruise showcasing Nakanoshima’s night scenery, letting passengers enjoy eight illuminated highlights from the boat. These include the lit-up “Naniwa Three Great Bridges” (Tenmabashi, Tenjinbashi, and Naniwabashi), the large fountain at Ken-saki Park, Osaka Castle, and the Osaka City Central Public Hall. The cruise departs from and returns to Hachikenyahama Pier and has been jointly operated by Osaka Suijo Bus Co., Ltd. and the general incorporated association Suito Osaka Partners since September 2015. Onboard, a cruise guide introduces the fantastically illuminated night-view spots, and visitors can download a multilingual cruise map via QR code, making it enjoyable for international travelers as well. You can also view the “Rubber Duck” up close—an iconic giant duck-shaped art piece that appeared for Suito Osaka Fes 2015. The Rubber Duck is an artwork by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, measuring about 9.5 meters tall and 9.5 meters wide, floating on the Okawa River in Nakanoshima.
