Nakanoshima River Cruise is a sightseeing cruise operated by Ipponmatsu Shipping, offering views of retro architecture, modern skyscrapers, and illuminated bridges in the Nakanoshima area. Nakanoshima River Cruise follows a route that loops around the Dojima River. It departs from Fukushima (Hotarumachi) Port, heads east along the Dojima River, then makes a U-turn just before Oebashi Bridge on Midosuji. It then passes Fukushima Port, goes under Tamaebashi Bridge, makes another U-turn while viewing Dojima Ohashi Bridge, and returns to Fukushima Port. Oebashi Bridge is particularly notable: although it is a concrete bridge, it is designated as an Important Cultural Property and was built with its scenery in mind, taking inspiration from the Seine River in Paris. The fare is 1,200 yen, and children of elementary school age or younger ride free. However, if there is more than one child per adult, an additional fee of 400 yen applies, so please be careful.
