Round ONE Sennichi-mae
Round1 Sennichimae is an urban-style multi-entertainment complex that opened in April 2012 on Sennichimae Street in Namba, Osaka. It is operated by Round One Corporation and serves as the company’s flagship store. Round One Corporation was founded in March 1993, opened its first “Round1” location (the Senboku branch) in Minami Ward, Sakai City, and was listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2015. Today it operates 104 locations in Japan and 32 overseas. The chain gained popularity by combining bowling with other attractions such as karaoke and Spo-Cha (a sports/activity zone). Designed around the concept of “stacked blocks of fun,” the Sennichimae venue is notable for its colorful elevators moving up and down behind glass and a stadium-like balcony installed along the shopping-arcade side. In addition to bowling, the facility offers an ice skating rink, karaoke, an amusement arcade, darts, table tennis, and Spo-Cha activities such as a batting center, tennis, and basketball.
