Osaka Takoyaki Museum
Osaka Takoyaki Museum is a food theme-park space on the 4th floor of Universal CityWalk Osaka, a building adjacent to Universal Studios Japan, where famous takoyaki shops representing Osaka gather in one place. Popular brands such as Honke Aizuya, Takoya Dōtonbori Kukuru, Amerikamura Kōgaryū, Abeno Takoyaki Yamachan, Jūhachiban, Ichibirian, and the Carnival Plaza lineup make it possible to compare different takoyaki styles side by side. In addition to eating, there are displays on takoyaki history, tools, takoyaki goods, and even takoyaki-themed games—making it hard to resist for takoyaki fans. There are also Osaka-style offerings like fortune-telling and caricature shops. Access is easy: JR trains run directly from Osaka Station to Universal City Station in about 10 minutes, and from there it is just a short walk. By car, parking is available (300 yen per 30 minutes) with about 299 spaces. There are also highway buses bound for Universal City, making transportation very convenient.
