VR ZONE OSAKA
VR ZONE OSAKA was one of Japan’s largest indoor VR entertainment facilities, located on the 8th and 9th floors of HEP FIVE in Umeda, Osaka, and opened in 2018. It was positioned as a flagship VR ZONE venue following “VR ZONE SHINJUKU” in Tokyo. The facility offered 14 types of activities across genres such as RPG, shooting, thrill rides, horror, adventure, sports, and more. Visitors could enjoy VR experiences based on popular franchises including “Dragon Quest VR,” “Godzilla VR,” and “Evangelion VR.” In Dragon Quest VR, guests could step into the Dragon Quest world; in Godzilla VR, they could experience the world of the film “Shin Godzilla”; and in Evangelion VR, they could pilot an Evangelion and battle mysterious beings known as Angels. The venue was renewed in summer 2019, introducing new attractions such as “Taiko no Tatsujin VR-Da Don!” and “Athletic VR Pac-Man Challenge.”
