ATC - Asia-Pacific Trade Center

The Asia and Pacific Trade Center (ATC) is a large-scale mixed-use complex located in Sakishima (South Port), Suminoe Ward, Osaka, opened in 1994. It is one of Osaka’s major visitor draws, and from its vast site of roughly 68,000㎡ you can look out over the sea. It was originally built by the City of Osaka as a trade center for commerce, with a total project cost of 146.5 billion yen. Promoted with the catchphrase “I♡NANKO,” the facility consists mainly of two buildings: the ITM Building, which houses IT-company offices and showrooms (such as furniture and interior showrooms), and the O’s (Ozu) Building, lined with dining and entertainment venues. The ITM Building includes “Osaka ATC Green Eco Plaza,” where environmental seminars are held, “Megatown,” the official shop for Cerezo Osaka, and showrooms such as Otsuka Kagu. The O’s Building also contains ATC Hall, which records more than seven million visitors annually and has hosted large-scale children’s character exhibitions and professional boxing events.
