Osaka Maishima Seaside Park

The former “Osaka Maishima Lily Garden” was reborn as “Osaka Maishima Seaside Park” and has hosted the “Nemophila Festival” since April 13, 2019. It offers a spectacular view of about one million nemophila flowers, blending with the blue sea and sky. Located in Osaka’s bay area, it cannot be reached directly by train; access requires buses from JR Yumesaki Line Sakurajima Station, Osaka Metro Chuo Line Cosmo Square Station, or JR Osaka Loop Line / Hanshin Namba Line Nishikujō Station. Because of this, visiting by car is often recommended. A large parking lot (capacity about 1,800 cars) is available for 700 yen per vehicle. The park also offers various activities: a kids’ park with popular attractions like a sky trampoline, a heliport offering sightseeing helicopter rides (adult 5,500 yen / child 5,000 yen), and a “stripe zone” where you can enjoy blue-and-white nemophila. Many events are held, and the site becomes lively with visitors.
