Osaka City Air Terminal(OCAT)
Osaka City Air Terminal, known as “OCAT,” is a complex commercial facility that also contains the OCAT Bus Terminal for highway buses and tour buses, making it a convenient base for sightseeing. The facility was developed to strengthen access to Kansai International Airport, and airport limousine buses operate from here, making it handy for travel to and from KIX. Highway buses to destinations such as the Kanto region and Shikoku also depart from here, offering excellent convenience. Access is straightforward: JR Namba Station (JR Yamatoji Line/Kansai Main Line) connects directly to OCAT, and it is also close to multiple Osaka Metro Namba stations—about a 5-minute walk from Midosuji Line Namba Station (Northwest/Northeast gates), and about a 3-minute walk from Yotsubashi Line Namba Station (North gate) and Sennichimae Line Namba Station (West gate). Inside, there are many services and shops, including a post office, Namba Civic Learning Center, city tax office, restaurants, and specialty stores. The rooftop features a garden with about 200 kinds of plants totaling around 10,000 shrubs and trees, creating an oasis in the city.
