Crysta Nagahori
Crysta Nagahori—its name meaning “asteroid”—is an underground shopping arcade beneath Nagahori-dori in Minamisemba, Chuo Ward, Osaka. It opened in 1997 and is operated by Crysta Nagahori Co., Ltd. The mall opened almost simultaneously with the full-line opening of the Osaka Metro Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line. Stretching 730 meters from Sakaisuji to Yotsubashisuji, with a total floor area of 81,765㎡, it is known as Japan’s largest underground shopping arcade by floor area and connects directly to Osaka Metro’s Yotsubashi Line, Shinsaibashi Station, and Nagahoribashi Station. Features such as a glass ceiling that lets in natural light and relaxing spaces like “Waterfall Plaza” and “Water Clock Plaza” create an open, airy feel. The arcade is divided into four zones—West Town, Fashion Town, Variety Town, and Gourmet Town—with around 100 shops ranging from women’s fashion and men’s fashion to lifestyle goods and dining. Campaigns and events are also held at Waterfall Plaza.
