Solaniwa Onsen Osaka Bay Tower
Soraniwa Onsen OSAKA BAY TOWER is a large-scale hot-spring theme park in Minato Ward, Osaka, opened in 2019 and often promoted as one of the largest in Kansai. The facility, themed around the Azuchi–Momoyama period, spans roughly 5,000 tsubo and features a Japanese-modern interior. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by characters inspired by the Azuchi era. The onsen occupies floors 2 through 5 of OSAKA BAY TOWER North. The 2nd floor includes a ganbanyoku (hot-stone spa), dining and shopping, and a relaxation area offering over 50 services from Japanese-style body care to full-scale beauty treatments. The 3rd floor has a reclining rest area. The 4th floor features a rooftop Japanese garden, and the 5th floor includes large communal baths using natural hot-spring water and private baths for 1–6 people. Guests can enjoy nine types of baths, including a mildly alkaline natural hot spring drawn from 1,000 meters underground (often marketed as a “beautifying bath”), carbonated baths, and rotating daily baths. The rooftop garden offers waterfalls and seasonal plants, and the venue also provides participatory shows, shopping, and food experiences. A free shuttle bus operates between Universal City and Namba OCAT.
