Your chance to see real Kabuki!
One of the most representative performing art forms of Japan has a rich history of over 400 years and it continues to evolve even in the present day.
The word "kabuki" is said to have originated from the attitude of expression that actively incorporates new cultures and customs into the performing arts to provide joy and surprise to the audience.
The Osaka Shochikuza Theater has served as Japan's representative theater for the performing arts of a new era since its establishment in 1923.
