Hiroshima River Cruise

Hiroshima City River Sightseeing Boats are sightseeing cruises on Hiroshima City’s rivers. Known as Hiroshima River Cruise, you can explore Hiroshima’s waterways by boat with a guide. The 25-minute Motoyasu River–Honkawa River course is served by three boats: the River Cruise-go (capacity 15), the Aqua-go (capacity 12), and the Runrun-go (capacity 6). For the approximately 60-minute loop course around the Motoyasu River and Honkawa River (from 4 people), reservations are required by the day before. There is also a Sunset Cruise course (40 minutes), which also requires a reservation. In addition, there is the World Heritage Route (45 minutes) run by Aqua Net Hiroshima, connecting the Atomic Bomb Dome and Miyajima, home to Itsukushima Shrine. Regular WATER TAXI boats also run from the river station to tour Peace Memorial Park. Because Hiroshima and its rivers are inseparable, when you visit Hiroshima for sightseeing, be sure to try a river cruise. Being able to tour attractions while relaxing on a boat is a Hiroshima-style experience. To get to the Hiroshima City River Sightseeing Boats, get off the streetcar at "Genbaku Dome-mae" and walk 3 minutes.
