While many tourists only visit the most well-known attractions, local residents are familiar with many hidden gems beyond typical sightseeing routes. sokoiko! offers an interactive tour experience led by local guides, using comfortable electric-assist bicycles to explore these lesser-known areas with ease.
In Hiroshima, sokoiko! introduces participants to hidden stories behind famous places, such as "Before Peace Memorial Park Existed" and "The Thoughts Embedded in Hiroshima’s Streetcars." Tours also take guests to beautiful areas where urban scenery and nature blend harmoniously, highlighting Hiroshima’s identity as a city of rivers. Available tours include the "Peace Tour" at 5,000 yen for two hours, as well as a "Custom-Made Tour" lasting three hours for 12,300 yen, with routes tailored to participants’ interests. The operating company, mint Inc., is accessible via a 5-minute walk from the "Fuchu Henshodenjo" bus stop on the Hiroshima Dentetsu Bus line, although meeting points vary depending on the tour.
