LECT
LECT is a large shopping center in Nishi Ward, Hiroshima City. With the concept of "knowledge, food, and living," it aims to create an entirely new style of commercial facility and proposes a time-creating lifestyle. With around 150 shops and approximately 3,200 parking spaces, it is a truly large-scale destination, bustling day after day because people of all ages can enjoy everything at once—from shopping and gourmet dining to beauty and learning. Surprisingly, CAINZ, commonly seen across eastern Japan, opened its first Hiroshima Prefecture location here, and about half of the stores are also making their debut in Hiroshima Prefecture. At the same time, the unique mix includes one-third of the tenants being specialty shops from Hiroshima Prefecture, which is another appealing feature. There is a free shuttle bus, but access by car is especially convenient. Some visitors even stop by on the way back from trips to other prefectures, and from families with children to seniors including grandparents, it’s easy to take care of everything in one place—here at LECT.
