Marina Hop

Marina Hop is the only large seaside shopping mall in Hiroshima Prefecture. With a yacht harbor and beautiful Seto Inland Sea scenery right in front of you, you can enjoy shopping, strolling, and dining at a relaxed pace. The site also includes an amusement park and an aquarium, making it popular not only with friends and couples but also with families. A nice perk is that pets are welcome throughout the complex (excluding some facilities). There are many restaurants that allow pets at the table, a dog run, and free rentals of cages and carts, so pet owners can visit with peace of mind. Access: by bus, take Hiroden Bus Route 3 from Hiroshima Station (about 40 minutes) and get off at "Kanon Marina Hop," then walk immediately. By car, take the Sanyo Expressway from Fukuyama-nishi IC, then via Hiroshima-higashi Junction to Hiroshima Expressway Route 1, transfer at Niho Junction to Route 3, exit at Yoshijima Tollgate, and head west. A sightseeing boat (the Marina Hop–Miyajima Route) also operates from Marina Hop to Miyajima, reaching Miyajima in about 25 minutes one-way.
