Kamiyacho Shareo

Kamiyacho Shareo is an underground shopping arcade located in Kamiyacho, central Hiroshima. It is the largest underground mall in Hiroshima Prefecture and a signature hub for tourism and shopping in the city. With a strong lineup of women’s apparel stores, it also features men’s fashion, variety shops, bookstores, sweets shops, cafés, and many other dining options. It is directly connected to Astram Line "Hondori" Station and "Kencho-mae" Station, Hiroshima Electric Railway stops "Kamiyacho-higashi," "Kamiyacho-nishi," and "Hondori," as well as the Hiroshima Bus Center—making access exceptionally convenient. Because it is an underground mall, you can enjoy shopping and dining even in bad weather. Near the southwest underground connecting entrance is the Hiroshima City Tourist Information Center, which is handy for consulting about recommended local food and places to visit. Convenience stores and ATMs are also available throughout, so it is useful even when you are not shopping. The gourmet street is especially well developed, and events are often held, so weekends are lively with families and couples.
