Guided tours

Odaiba Area

The Odaiba area is a major entertainment hub spread across Tokyo Bay’s waterfront. The Rainbow Bridge is a famous access route, but by train you can also reach it via the Yurikamome line or the Rinkai Line (Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit). Along the coast are large parks with sea views, such as Shiokaze Park and Odaiba Marine Park, and in summer you can even enjoy swimming. The striking Fuji TV building can be toured inside; the 25th-floor spherical observatory “Hachitama” is especially popular for panoramic views over Tokyo. There are also many large commercial complexes: VenusFort features an outlet floor (noted as a first for central Tokyo) and around 160 shops; indoor theme park Tokyo Joypolis and Madame Tussauds Tokyo are in Decks Tokyo Beach; Aqua City Odaiba offers a fun, varied gourmet zone; and DiverCity Tokyo Plaza boasts a life-size Gundam right in front. The lineup is so varied that you can’t cover it all in just one day.
