Adventure world

Adventure World is a theme park that combines a zoo, an aquarium, and an amusement park. From JR West "Shirahama Station," take the Wakayama Nanki Shirahama Meiko Bus and in under 10 minutes you’ll arrive at the "Adventure World-mae" bus stop. Just inside the entrance, the Marine World area lets you enjoy ocean life, including "Penguin Kingdom" where you can see three kinds of penguins, and "Marine Live" where dolphins and whales put on dynamic performances. Farther in, the Breeding Center—dedicated to wildlife breeding and research—is sure to captivate both kids and adults, especially because you can see the park’s famous pandas. In Safari World, riding the train-shaped "Kenya-go" to observe animals living freely is another special experience. When you get hungry, enjoy lunch at "Center Dome," where there are cute animal plates for kids and a Japanese restaurant serving authentic local dishes using Wakayama ingredients for adults. If you still have energy, head to the amusement area "Play Zone" to make even more memories.
