Roadside Station Kushimoto Hashigui-iwa is a roadside station in Kushimoto Town, Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture, located right in front of the "Hashigui-iwa" rock formation. Many visitors stop by after coming to see the spectacular view of rock pillars lined up from Kushimoto toward Oshima, making it a convenient place for lunch or buying souvenirs. A particularly popular item inside is the local kumquat soft-serve ice cream ("kinkan soft cream"), loved for its perfect balance of sweetness and slight bitterness.
