Alice Garden

Alice Garden is an event plaza in Naka Ward, Hiroshima City. "Alice Garden" is its nickname, and its official name is Hiroshima City Nishi-Shintenchi Public Plaza. Located in the very center of Hiroshima’s downtown entertainment district, it sits next to buildings and hotels and offers excellent access. Along with places like Hiroshima PARCO, Alice Garden is also a classic meeting spot. Shintenchi Park is also nearby, and with events such as the Shintenchi Fureai Festival, local residents join in and it becomes a relaxing place for citizens. With Okonomi-mura’s building right in front, it truly feels like a small open space suddenly appearing in the middle of the city, and you may not notice it when the stage is not in use. When walking through the shopping streets, the moment you suddenly come upon this open, well-maintained plaza—that is Alice Garden. To get to Alice Garden, it is about a 5-minute walk from the "Hatchobori" streetcar stop.
