Yuzawa Grand Hotel

Yuzawa Grand Hotel is a hot spring hotel in Yuzawa Town, Minamiuonuma District, Niigata Prefecture. It has excellent access—about a 2-minute walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station and about 3 minutes by car from Yuzawa I.C. Located in the center of Yuzawa Onsen, it offers three bath areas—“Kisato no Yu,” “Wakakusa no Yu,” and “Iwa no Yu”—so you can enjoy a mini onsen tour within the hotel. For those who want private bathing, there are also rooms with open-air baths featuring free-flowing source water. The hotel is also particular about food: dinner buffet offers around 50 dishes, and breakfast about 40, providing lavish menus. The biggest point of pride is rice—Minamiuonuma/Shiozawa-grown Koshihikari that is plump, glossy, fragrant, and sweet, which you can enjoy to your heart’s content. There are also carefully prepared Japanese and Western dishes, and Chinese cuisine cooked by Chinese chefs.
