Toki Messe
Toki Messe Niigata Convention Center is a complex facility facing the point where the Shinano River flows into the Sea of Japan. It consists of two buildings: the Niigata Convention Center and the Bandaijima Building, and it opened in 2003. The exterior was designed with a ship motif, and its transparent glass-and-metal design defines the Bandaijima landscape. Inside, it integrates a full-scale exhibition hall, 13 meeting/exhibition rooms of various sizes, a hotel, and more, making it easy to handle conferences, parties, and lodging smoothly. By combining these facilities, it can host a wide range of programs such as live performances, events, and entrance exams. On the 31st floor of the Bandaijima Building is the “Befco Bakauke Observatory,” where you can enjoy spectacular Sea of Japan views for free. Access: about 20 minutes on foot from Niigata Station Bandai Exit, about 5 minutes by car from Niigata Station, and about 20 minutes by car from Niigata Airport. Parking is available, so arriving by car lets you enter without getting wet in the rain.
