Hagi Ichirin Hotel
Yoimachi no Yado Hagi Ichirin is an inn known for its open-air baths and the ability to enjoy “bath hopping” across 11 different baths. At “Umikaze no Yu,” you can enjoy a rock open-air bath, ceramic open-air bath, and a kamaburo-style bath while listening to waves of the Sea of Japan and feeling the sea breeze. At “Tsukimi no Yu,” you’ll find a Japanese-modern ceramic open-air bath, with a sauna also available. “Yumemi no Yu” offers a hinoki-scented open-air bath and a ceramic bath. In addition, there are private family baths with hinoki tubs, a footbath, and of course indoor baths—allowing you to enjoy many styles of bathing within one inn. The cuisine features fresh seafood, including fugu landed locally in Kitaura, and also Mishima beef, a wagyu designated as a natural monument. The chef’s carefully prepared breakfast is a nutritious Japanese set meal you’ll want to enjoy to start the day.
