Taikanso Senami no Yu

Taikanso Senami-no-Yu is a ryokan located along the Sea of Japan in Senami Onsen, Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture. Its standout feature is the beautiful sunset view from within the inn. Because it faces the Sea of Japan, you can enjoy the best sunsets with nothing to block the view. The beach is also nearby, so summer swimming is an option, and in autumn it is recommended to take a walk while viewing the fall colors. Bathing in the hot springs while watching the sunset is exceptional. In the historic Senami Onsen, you can relax and soak in a calm atmosphere. Meals use seasonal ingredients from the Sea of Japan and Murakami. Enjoy flavors that you can only experience here, including local Murakami beef, Iwafune-grown Koshihikari rice cooked on the spot, and abundant seafood from the Sea of Japan. Access: about 10 minutes by free shuttle bus from JR Murakami Station; about 10 minutes by car from Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway “Kanbayashi-Iwafunekou I.C.” There is parking for 100 cars, making it easy to use by private car.
