Roadside Station Yume Land Funo

Michi-no-Eki Yume Land Funo is a roadside station in Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. It has a large parking lot with space for 60 cars and is used as a rest stop during drives. In addition to toilets and rest areas, it also offers a restaurant and a farmers’ direct-sales market, and it is well regarded for being affordable and delicious. Ice cream is also sold here, with the motto of offering ice cream that can be made because it is Funo: fresh milk is sourced from cows raised on the land of Miyoshi, and vegetables and fruits are used while fresh, made from nearby produce, to sell delicious ice cream day after day. With facilities such as a stage that can support events, a park, and a mini ranch, it is a popular roadside station for a wide range of ages. The most popular attraction is the "Furusato Buffet," and many people visit specifically for the buffet featuring plenty of local vegetables. The rice used is also grown by Yume Land Funo using the aigamo (duck) farming method. There are also hands-on farms and craft workshops, allowing you to casually interact with nature. To get to Michi-no-Eki Yume Land Funo, it is a 20-minute drive from the Miyoshi IC on the Chugoku Expressway.
