Shiga Agricultural Park "Blumen Hugel Farm"
Shiga Agricultural Park Blumen no Oka is a hands-on farm experience park in Hino Town at the foothills of the Suzuka Mountains, themed around dairy farming. With concepts centered on nature, animal interaction, and experiential learning, the park offers a wide range of activities that let visitors play outdoors and nurture a sense of wonder. The park is home to many animals such as alpacas, capybaras, horses, and goats, and visitors can enjoy feeding experiences and even horseback riding. In addition to farming and dairy experiences, seasonal hands-on programs—such as making pizza in a wood-fired oven and crafting sausages—are also popular highlights. The park features plenty of play facilities, including putter golf and pedal boats, as well as a buggy car attraction that races down steep slopes and full-scale archery. The Alps Gym, which both adults and children can enjoy, is another favorite spot. Flowers bloom throughout the year—such as nemophila, sunflowers, and cosmos—bringing a gentle, uplifting atmosphere to every visit. The park is about a 20-minute drive from Yokaichi IC on the Meishin Expressway.
