Kure Port Cruise Tour of Warships

The Kure Battleship Cruise is a cruising activity where you can view many vessels while listening to commentary by former Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force personnel. The cruise takes about 35 minutes and uses the boat "Kurenai No. 5." The vessel is wide and stable and has two decks; the upper deck is an open deck, making it especially pleasant to cruise while feeling the sea breeze of the Seto Inland Sea. Because the moored ships vary depending on timing, it is a spot that satisfies visitors no matter when you come. Access: by car, about 2 km (around 7 minutes) from Kure IC, or about 7 km (around 30 minutes) from Aga IC. By train, take the JR Kure Line (Rapid) from JR Hiroshima Station (about 32 minutes) to Kure Station, then walk about 5 minutes. By streetcar and ferry: take Hiroshima Electric Railway from Hiroshima Station (about 32 minutes) to Hiroshima Port, then take a ferry (45 minutes) or a Super Jet (23 minutes) to Kure Port, then walk 1 minute. Boarding is from the 1st-floor area of the Kure Central Pier Terminal next to the Yamato Museum.
