Wakayama Marina City Porto Europe

Porto Europa is a theme park inside Wakayama Marina City. Built with a Mediterranean motif, it’s packed with exciting spots that make you feel as if you’ve wandered into a European townscape. The park is divided into two districts: the "Porto Europa Zone" and the "Amusement Park Zone." In the "Porto Europa Zone," you can mainly enjoy shopping for Wakayama specialties and gifts. In the "Amusement Park Zone," popular attractions include "Shinobi: Become a Ninja Master," where you clear various challenges for a ninja experience, as well as cutting-edge VR attractions. "Water Shot" lets you ride a vehicle while shooting water guns, and "Animal Happy Sky" is a gentle gondola ride—there are plenty of attractions suitable for families with small children. Unusually for a theme park, there’s also "Engei Sabo," a shop selling flowers and gardening supplies, and "Mercado" carries Hawaiian goods—so adults can enjoy it too. Access: get off at Nankai Main Line "Kainan Station," then take a Wakayama Bus and get off at either "Marina City" or "Wakayama-kan Mae"—it’s right there.
