Mitsui Outlet Park Shiga Ryuo

Mitsui Outlet Park Shiga Ryuo is the first outlet mall in the Keiji (Kyoto–Shiga) area and one of the largest in the Kansai region. It is conveniently located near the Meishin Expressway Ryuo IC, making it easy to access not only from within Shiga, but also from Kyoto, Osaka, Hokuriku, and the Tokai area. It features about 230 domestic and international brands, manufacturers, and select shops, set in an open, relaxing space designed to harmonize with a lush natural environment. The grounds include nature-inspired features such as a forest-themed center court, a lawn plaza surrounded by greenery, and a berry garden. Another unique highlight is MOP LABO ShigaRyuo, where workshops and events are held. With lawns, fountains, and play equipment, it’s also a great spot for families with small children. If using public transportation, the nearest stations are JR Yasu Station or Omi-Hachiman Station, and buses run from both stations about every 30 minutes.
