Hotel The Westhills Mito is a locally rooted hotel created as part of the Daikumachi redevelopment project. The site includes offices, residences, and a shopping area, aiming to become an attractive “”western gateway”” to Mito. In particular, the over-1,000㎡ public passage is filled with greenery and serves as a relaxing place for locals, and various events are also held. The concept is to be more comfortable than a business hotel yet more approachable than a full city hotel, offering high quality at a reasonable price. Guest rooms are supervised in design by Ichiro Mori (known for projects such as Hilton Tokyo Bay), featuring an elegant, white-based space. Dining is at “”RICETTA,”” which has terrace seating and private rooms, and offers a breakfast buffet promoted as “”the most energizing breakfast in Mito.”
