Mazda Museum
The Mazda Museum is a visitor facility located within the headquarters grounds of the automobile manufacturer Mazda. At the entrance, visitors are welcomed by the latest vehicles and special displays, while the history exhibition traces nearly 100 years of Mazda’s evolution since the 1920s. Highlights include actual race cars that won at Le Mans and the opportunity to observe Mazda’s assembly line in action, where vehicles are completed one after another right before your eyes.
Admission is free, but advance reservations are mandatory, and all visits are guided. Independent, unguided tours are not permitted. The museum is accessible via a 5-minute walk from Mukainada Station on the Sanyo or Kure Line, or directly from the "Mukainada-ekimae (Mazda Headquarters)" stop from JR Hiroshima Station. All visitors meet at the first floor of the Mazda Headquarters building. Please note that although renovation work began in January 2020, reopening has been postponed indefinitely due to the impact of COVID-19.
