ZOZO Marine Stadium

ZOZO Marine Stadium is a multipurpose baseball stadium in Makuhari Kaihin Park, Mihama Ward, Chiba City. Until 2016 it was called “Chiba Marine Stadium,” but after ZOZO acquired the naming rights it became ZOZO Marine Stadium. It is the home stadium of the Chiba Lotte Marines, hosting 72 official games each year. With left/right field at 99.5 m, center field at 122.0 m, and a capacity of 30,000, games here are known for sea winds that often carry fly balls—creating thrilling play that baseball fans love. The stadium also offers diverse seating such as tatami-mat private rooms, and it has a huge belt-shaped display (the Marines Wing Vision) stretching 296 m along the front of the 2nd-floor infield stands, providing lots of information and in-stadium entertainment. Beyond baseball, the venue hosts major events including concerts; one famous music event held here is SUMMER SONIC. Access: about a 15-minute walk from JR Kaihin-Makuhari Station.
