Michi-no-Eki Utsunomiya Romantik-mura is a stay-and-experience roadside station with a vast site that includes a farmers’ market, restaurants featuring local ingredients, hands-on farms, forest play areas, a dog run, hot springs, a pool, and even accommodation facilities. In its managed woodland area of over 10 hectares, you can enjoy walking or jogging while appreciating seasonal changes in the forest. The spa facilities offer pools, jacuzzi, and sauna, plus a natural hot spring where you can soak while viewing Utsunomiya’s great nature. The large farm includes strawberry houses and other facilities, and regular agricultural experience programs are held. Harvest experiences are offered daily, allowing you to pick seasonal vegetables. Shopping is also fun, with items like Utsunomiya craft beer and original gyoza made on-site, as well as fresh vegetables and fruit delivered each morning from local contract farmers. There is also a hotel with distinctive red roofs in a Southern European style, suitable for everything from private trips to business use.
