EXPASA Gozaisho

EXPASA Gozaisho in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, is the largest service area on the Tomeihan Expressway. The inbound (up) side is the last service area for travelers coming from Ise or the Kansai region, and it is themed around "Mikura," a concept packed with shopping, food, and travel delights. Along with the "Omiyage-kan" souvenir hall featuring gifts from the Chukyo and Kansai regions and the "Tokusen Ippin-kan" offering famous Mie confections, it also has the first directly operated Akafuku shop ever to open at a highway service area. The outbound (down) side is the first service area after entering Mie Prefecture from Aichi, gathering Mie’s local specialties and popular shops to satisfy travelers arriving from the Chubu region. Must-check spots include "Gozaisho Saikan," stocked with Tokai-region sweets, and "Sangi," featuring local souvenirs and specialty products. Among the limited-edition items available only on each side, you’ll also find products selected for NEXCO Central’s original souvenir brand "ParemiyA," so it’s worth stopping at both the inbound and outbound sides. Another great point is that it can also be accessed from local roads.
