MetLife Dome
MetLife Dome, also known as Seibu Dome, is a domed baseball stadium located in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture. It is the home stadium of the Saitama Seibu Lions of Nippon Professional Baseball’s Pacific League and is regarded as a sacred site by fans. Although the stadium is owned by Seibu Railway, its management and operations are handled by the Saitama Seibu Lions organization. Originally known as Seibu Lions Stadium, the station name remains Seibukyujomae Station even after the dome was added. The name MetLife Dome comes from MetLife Insurance acquiring the naming rights. In addition to baseball games, the extensive grounds are used for concerts, flea markets, and various events, as well as for training facilities such as sub-grounds, indoor practice fields, and training camps. Exclusive merchandise and stadium-only bento boxes are also popular among fans. MetLife Dome is located just a short walk from Seibukyujomae Station on the Seibu Sayama Line.
