Ise City Tourist Information Center

The Ise City Station Tourist Information Center, located inside JR Sangu Line "Ise-shi Station," is one of five tourist information offices operated in the city by the Ise City Tourism Association. It provides free sightseeing information and brochures for visitors coming to worship at Ise Jingu or enjoy Ise tourism, and it also offers in-person consultation at the counter. The staff can assist in English as well, so international travelers can use it with confidence. The free public Wi-Fi service "Summit Wi-Fi Ise" was installed to commemorate the Ise-Shima Summit held in 2016. Each session lasts 30 minutes, but there is no limit on the number of sessions, and it supports five languages including Japanese, making it ideal for researching travel information online before heading out sightseeing. The center also offers free rental services for wheelchairs for visitors with mobility concerns and strollers for families with children (limited availability). Inside Ise-shi Station, there are also other convenient travel services such as a paid baggage storage counter that lets you explore the city hands-free.
