Guriland

Guriland is a tour company best known for its popular RIB tours. A RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) is a tough inflatable boat type used for military and rescue operations. On the RIB tour, you can explore special protected-area sights around Lake Towada that cannot be seen from regular sightseeing boats or from land—such as wildlife drinking spots, the Itomuka inlet, and the legendary Christ statue—while riding the RIB for about 50 minutes. "Itomuka" means "shining water" in the Ainu language, and at the Itomuka inlet you can observe spring water bubbling up from the lakebed along with rising air bubbles. With speeds that can reach up to 70 km/h, the RIB ride is thrilling and powerful. If the timing is right, you may even spot wild animals such as bears.
