Hironobu Tsujiguchi Museum Le Musée de Ash
Tsujiguchi Hironobu Museum ‘Le Musée de H’ is a confectionery-art museum in Wakura Onsen, Ishikawa Prefecture, founded by Nanao-born pâtissier and chocolatier Hironobu Tsujiguchi. You can view works made from confectionery ingredients as art pieces, including a large candy sculpture ‘Ginga’ (about 1.2 m tall and 6 m wide). In addition to seeing Tsujiguchi’s works, you can also enjoy Le Musée de H sweets made with meticulous attention to ingredients. The sweets showcase Noto and Hokuriku ingredients so you can experience the world of desserts both visually and by taste. Tsujiguchi is active not only as a pâtissier but also through lectures, TV appearances, and publishing. There are also items you can only eat here, such as sweets and bread inspired by Kanazawa’s Kenrokuen yukitsuri. Access: about 5 minutes by car from JR Wakuraonsen Station.
