Rurikoh

Rurikoh is a ryokan in Yamashiro Onsen, Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It’s a high-end inn; if you stay in the “Hoshi-no-To” (rooms with open-air baths), you can use an exclusive lounge for Hoshi-no-To guests only. The lounge offers things like a simple stone sauna and massage chairs, and you can enjoy free drinks in an elegant space. Even if you don’t stay in Hoshi-no-To, there is a daily performance of Kaga Ikko-Ikki taiko drums, and after bathing you can receive a service of chilled sweets (seasonal jelly). The inn features a grand open-air bath and indoor baths where you can soak while feeling the scenery of the seasons, plus five private open-air baths (paid) and a footbath; day-use bathing is also possible. Dinner uses plenty of Kaga cuisine made from local sea and mountain ingredients, and in autumn/winter you can choose a crab course. In summer, a garden pool opens, making it popular with families. The hot spring is a colorless, clear alkaline simple spring. Breakfast is a Japanese set meal or a Japanese buffet. Access: about 10 minutes by the inn’s free shuttle from Kagaonsen Station.
