Friendship Adventures

Friendship Adventures is an experiential activity facility offering unique adventures for visitors to Shiga Prefecture throughout the year. From spring to autumn, guests can enjoy rafting on the Seta River flowing from Lake Biwa, thrilling water tubing, and river bugging that allows free movement on the water’s surface. During the snowy season from January to March, visitors can experience snowshoe hiking using modern snowshoes or try snow speed activities, sliding down snowy slopes on body boards. Additional experiences include cycling tours around Omihachiman, agricultural activities, and ninja-themed experiences, with barbecue options available afterward. Through these hands-on activities, visitors can fully immerse themselves in the natural and cultural charms of Shiga. By car, the facility is about 20 minutes from either the Seta-Higashi IC or Otsu IC on the Meishin Expressway. By public transportation, take a bus from JR Ishiyama Station bound for "Oishi Elementary School" and get off at "Kaeruiwa," which is right nearby.
