Iga no Sato Moku-Moku Tezukuri Farm
Iga no Sato Mokumoku Handmade Farm is a nature-, agriculture-, and handmade-themed destination in Iga City. The nearest station is JR Tsuge Station. Because there is no shuttle bus service, it is recommended to use a taxi or a car. If driving, access is convenient from either Mibuno IC on the Meihan National Highway or Konan IC on the Shin-Meishin Expressway. Within the farm grounds surrounded by trees, you’ll find play areas such as ponds and open lawns, as well as opportunities to interact with animals like goats, sheep, and mini pigs. Visitors can also enjoy harvest experiences such as shiitake mushroom picking and strawberry picking, and there are plenty of hands-on classes including sausage making and bread making. Rice, ham, and sausages made on the farm can be purchased at the Mokumoku Shop, and they can also be enjoyed at the on-site restaurants. The Agriculture Juku Market, which sells vegetables grown by nearby farmers, is also recommended. There are lodging and hot-spring facilities in the surrounding area as well, making it a great place for families and couples to spend a relaxed, unhurried time.
