Makaino Farm Resort

Makaino Farm is a hands-on, experiential farm located on the Asagiri Highland at the foot of Mt. Fuji. On its expansive grounds with views of Mt. Fuji, animals such as horses and sheep live peacefully. You can refresh your mind and body through food rich with nature’s blessings, animal encounters, and athletic play. The farm also offers many experience programs such as crafts and cooking workshops. A day-trip glamping-style BBQ is especially popular: in stylish tents or lodges, you can enjoy set menus including branded beef and salads, and grilling steak on a BBQ grill gives a real outdoor feel. On Saturdays, they also accept 1-night, 2-day camping. You can play together as a family in the sports plaza, or get active on age-appropriate athletic courses. There are also a restaurant and a café known for sweets made with the farm’s milk, making it easy to enjoy a full day. Access: about 30 minutes by car from Tomei Expressway Fuji IC or Shin-Tomei Expressway Shin-Fuji IC. A spacious parking lot is available.
