The on-site Shiga specialty direct-sales market "Oishiya Ureshiya" offers fresh produce grown by local farmers. In addition to seasonal fruits and vegetables, locally made processed foods are especially popular, with highlights including Omi beef bento lunches, Omi rice, and local sake from the Omi region. The shop area also features a wide range of Shiga souvenirs, such as Omi beef-themed gifts and tsukudani (simmered delicacies) made with fish from Lake Biwa.
